Sunshine Kids' enchanting winter market – an afternoon full of lights, music, and good cheer

On Wednesday, December 3, the daycare center grounds were transformed into a sparkling winter market that captivated young and old alike. The cozy atmosphere was palpable from the moment you arrived: fairy lights, lanterns, and candles glowed everywhere, bathing the market in a warm, wintery glow.

A special highlight was the children's lovingly prepared program. With great excitement and pride, they presented songs in German and English, danced along, and warmly invited their parents to sing and join in. The children's happy faces and the singing together created a touching moment that will remain in many people's memories for a long time to come.

There was plenty of food and drink on offer. The barbecue stand tempted visitors with delicious roast chicken and roast pork from the Landhof farm. The homemade marinated chicken was also very popular. The beverage stand served warm mulled wine for the adults and delicious children's punch for the youngest guests.

Other culinary highlights included the children's homemade cookies and the delicious chocolate apples from the Flechsig bakery, which were organized by the Friends of the School Association – a big thank you again! The Friends of the School Association also offered Christmas crafts. Small Christmas trees with tea lights were made from cardboard rolls. Painting small pieces of wood was also popular, with many children giving free rein to their creativity. The highlight was the glitter tattoo station.

Amidst all the stalls, lights, and delicacies, there was laughter, joy, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. As every year, the mayor, Mr. Pachan, did not miss the opportunity to stop by and enjoy this special afternoon together with the families.

In conclusion, there is only one thing left to say: Thank you to everyone who made this winter market so unforgettable—the children, the parents' council, the parents, the support association, all the helpers, and the entire daycare team. Together, we created a winter market that warmed our hearts and souls and got us in the mood for Advent in a wonderful way.
