There are a number of opportunities for parents to become active at our daycare center. Whether as a parent representative, member of the parent council - commitment is always in demand and shows your child how important "his" daycare is to you. At every first parents' evening of the new kindergarten year, the parents' representatives of the respective groups are elected by the parents present. The parent representatives then meet and elect a chairperson and a deputy from among their number. Meetings take place regularly. The parents' council meets alone or invites the head of the daycare center or a representative of the teachers to its meetings. Cooperation between the parents' representatives and the nursery team promotes mutual understanding. The members of the parents' council are known to the parents of the facility and are available to help them with queries and problems. If necessary, they mediate between parents, teachers and the provider of the facility so that the children feel comfortable and secure. - Representative of the "Eichhörnchen"
