Butterfly Project

In May, we were able to observe and experience the growth of butterflies in the Butterflies group. For this purpose we ordered a set for butterfly breeding. This allows the children to be present during the development and transformation of the delivered caterpillars to beautiful butterflies. The set included everything needed for this. With much joy and great expectations, the children were able to observe the development of the caterpillars through the pupae to the butterfly. During the pupation, hatching and feeding of the butterflies, the children were in awe. After all the butterflies pupated and we placed them in the breeding habitat, we then went into the forest and collected sticks and flowers together. At the end of May, the time finally came and the butterflies hatched. Together, the young thistle butterflies were released in the garden. Throughout the whole time, many pictures were taken and a butterfly book was made to keep everything in good memory. I would like to thank all the children for their great support, because only this way the whole project has become a complete success and an unforgettable experience for young and old!
