Discovery time at the daycare center: experience young animals up close!
At our daycare center, everything revolves around the little wonders of nature! Over the past few weeks, the children have had the opportunity to get to know various young animals and go on exciting excursions that have awakened their curiosity and enthusiasm for the animal world.
Visit to the horse farm
A special highlight was our trip to a nearby horse farm. The children were able to experience the majestic horses up close, stroke them and even feed them. The farm owner explained a lot about the care and keeping of the animals to the children. It was impressive to see how the children listened to the stories with shining eyes and became active themselves. The contact with the horses not only promoted a sense of responsibility, but also trust in the animals.
Calves up close
Another exciting day took us to a farm where the children had the opportunity to visit the cute little calves. The small, curious animals were a big hit! The children learned how important farming is to our diet and had lots of fun feeding and watching the calves. It was an unforgettable experience that enriched the children with lots of new impressions and knowledge.
A surprise visit: baby bunnies at the daycare center
To further deepen the topic of young animals, one of our educators brought a very special surprise to the daycare center: small, fluffy baby bunnies! The children were thrilled and could hardly wait to stroke the cute animals. Under the guidance of the nursery teacher, they learned how to look after the bunnies properly and what they need to feel comfortable. This direct interaction with the animals not only encouraged empathy, but also the joy of learning.
Conclusion
The experiences with the young animals not only quenched the children's thirst for knowledge, but also strengthened their social skills. We are proud to be able to offer our little explorers such valuable experiences. We are already looking forward to more exciting excursions and animal encounters in the future!
