Excursion to the sugar cone factory

On March 9, all the children starting school went to the sugar cone factory in Stenn. Our school buses took the "Birds" and "Butterflies" children there in the morning and picked them up again shortly before midday. During a tour, the children were shown how a sugar cone is made from a piece of paper and what makes Roth sugar cones so special. Then the children were allowed to look at the room with all the sugar cones and each child picked out at least one sugar cone for their first day at school.
